About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and patient Primary School Teacher to join our team at Hope Refugee School. You will be responsible for teaching a class of 20–25 refugee children aged 6–10, covering core subjects including Hindi, English, Mathematics, and Environmental Science.
Your Day-to-Day
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to multi-lingual classrooms
- Track each student's progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Coordinate with our counsellor for children requiring additional support
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and monthly parent sessions
- Help document student progress for our donor transparency reports

What we’re looking for
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in Hindi (spoken and written); basic English
- Patience, empathy, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Comfort working with children who have experienced trauma
Preferred
- Experience teaching in low-resource or community settings
- Knowledge of a second Indian language or Rohingya/Bengali
